Richard, Carol, Rene, and the remainder of the Jackson Family have been friends to everyone involved with the tournament for most all of our lives. This family remains a unified amazing group of people who in-spite of the tremendous loss and tragedy they have experienced, still demonstrate what pride, and friendship are all about. They are not people looking for limelight or pity. They are all of our extended parents, and sister, and cousin, and friends. When you see the look on their faces every year at the tournament, its almost as if the spirits of their sons is still alive.
When you ask why we do this tournament? One of the reasons surely is to generate money for worthwhile causes to be donated in the names of our departed friends, but it is also, frankly, to bring some joy, some reminiscence, some story telling, some good times, smiles and something fun every single year to the Jacksons. I don't know how to put the goals of this tournament and the unanimous sentiment of the board any differently.
We all love you, and we will always miss our friends, ricky & ryan.

While the Family supports this foundation with time and their energy & spirit, they leave the financial's, and day-to-day operations of running the foundation, to the volunteer board of directors. All proceeds of the tournament, less small operating expenses, are distributed to valid 501c3 charities in the Reno-Tahoe area.
